The Amherst Police Department has issued a blanket permit allowing all Amherst retail stores to perform necessary work or labor on Monday, October 13, 2025, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
This permit complies with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 136, Section 15, and authorizes retail establishments to operate during normal business hours.
