The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MASSDOT) will begin roadwork on Route 9 in Hadley as part of the Route 9 Widening Project starting Monday, March 25, 2025. Work will take place from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM daily, Monday through Friday, at the intersection of South Maple Street and Route 9 near the Popeyes entrance/exit.
Traffic Impact:
- Lane shifts with police detail and traffic setups.
- One-way alternating traffic at times.
- Wide load restrictions (11 ft. width) in effect 24/7, with police escorts required outside work hours.
