Dedicate Sales Tax on Sporting Goods to Fund Water & Nature – No Tax Increase
The “Vote Yes on 6” campaign has officially launched to secure funding for water and nature in Massachusetts. By setting aside a portion of revenue already generated from the existing sales tax on sporting goods, the initiative would dedicate up to $100 million annually to the Fund without any tax increase. The campaign is supported by the Nature For MA Coalition, including Mass Audubon.
