The Amherst Historical Society will host a walking tour, “Factory Hollow of the Mill River,” on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. The tour, led by Bryan Harvey, explores the history of early industry along the Mill River in North Amherst.
The tour follows conservation trails and highlights sites of former grist, textile, and paper mills. Participants should wear appropriate footwear for wooded trails.
