The Amherst Survival Center, in partnership with UMassFive College Federal Credit Union, is accepting donations of new and gently used coats, gloves, mittens, hats, and boots for its annual Winter Coat Giveaway. Donations can be dropped off at any UMassFive branch location or at the Amherst Survival Center during open hours.
The Winter Coat Giveaway will take place from November 17 to November 21, 2025, at the Amherst Survival Center. Community members are welcome to shop for a coat and winter accessories during pantry open hours. Availability of accessories depends on the number of donations received.
