Downtown Amherst Contra hosts a live music dance night on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Pacific Lodge Hall, 99 Main St, Amherst. A free beginner lesson starts at 7:00 PM, followed by dancing from 7:30–10:00 PM. No partner or experience needed.
Live music by Annie McDougall and Silas Hamilton, with calling by Michael Karcher. Inclusive, all-ages, and substance-free. Admission: $10–$20 general, $10–$15 students. Free for first-time dancers who attend the 7:00 lesson.
