Straw Dog Writers Guild is accepting applications for the 2027 Emerging Writer of Color Poetry Fellowship through September 15, 2026. Benefits include a $3,000 grant, a 2-year SDWG membership, mentorship, promotion through the guild’s mailing list and social media, a professional website designed by Valley of Writers, and a writing residency at The Mount.
