60+ Years of Environmental Education – Community Event at Hitchcock Center
The Hitchcock Center for the Environment will host “Hitchcock Harvest: A Celebration of Sustainability” on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 845 West Street, Amherst, rain or shine. The event celebrates over 60 years of environmental education in the Valley with local food and libations in the Brew Garden and interactive stations themed around the Living Building’s seven petals: Place, Water, Energy, Health & Happiness, Materials, Equity, and Beauty.
Petal Station Stamps, Collective Art Project & Raffle
At each petal station, visitors can learn about that principle in practice, respond to a prompt, and add reflections to a collective art project. Collect all seven stamps to receive a full drink and be entered into a raffle.
