Author and history professor Elyse Graham will discuss her book, Book and Dagger: How Scholars and Librarians Became the Unlikely Spies of World War II, during a virtual program on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, hosted by the Jones Library. The talk will take place via Zoom.
The program explores how academics and librarians were recruited into the Office of Strategic Services during World War II, contributing to intelligence work and the development of modern spycraft. The event is open to the public and will be conducted online.
