The Mead Art Museum at Amherst College will present “Adventures of the Quantum Soup Surfer,” a solo exhibition by artist JooYoung Choi, from January 27 through July 5, 2026. The exhibition features paintings, sculpture, and video works chronicling the journey of Choi’s character Nina Blue, the Quantum Soup Surfer, through her imaginative Cosmic Womb universe. Themes include resilience, identity, and social justice.
The Mead Art Museum, located at 41 Quadrangle Drive, is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with extended hours until 10:00 PM on Thursdays. Admission is free. For more information, visit amherst.edu/museums/mead.
