A free community salsa event will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Mill River Recreation Area, 95 Montague Rd, Amherst, MA.
- 6:00–7:00 PM: Free basic Rueda de Casino lesson with Celadry June
- 7:00–9:30 PM: Social dancing with Salsa con Tacos Dance, featuring salsa, bachata, and merengue music by DJ Picu under the pavilion
The event is hosted by Salsa con Tacos Dance, sponsored by Amherst Recreation, and funded by the Amherst Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council. A food truck will be on site. The program runs rain or shine.
