“Stories of Independence & Servitude” Exhibit in Hadley

The Porter-Phelps-Huntington Museum (130 River Dr, Hadley) will open its new exhibit “Forty Acres & The American Revolution: Stories of Independence & Servitude” on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 2 PM. The opening reception features a panel discussion with historians Emily Whitted, Olivia Hayes, Lauren Whitley-Haney, and Elizabeth Pangburn exploring Revolutionary-era labor at the Forty Acres estate. Free museum tours follow in the Corn Barn.
