The Mill District Local Art Gallery will host its Summer Art Opening on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 5 PM to 7 PM at 91 Cowls Road, Amherst, MA. This free event welcomes artists, art lovers, and community members to view and purchase works from more than 30 local artists. Complimentary light refreshments will be served, and live piano jazz will be performed by Avi Steinhardt.
Featured artists for the Summer Quarter include Aaron Wood, Barb Prescott, David A. Dickinson, Gretchen Holesovsky, Harold Dumas, Kerry St. Laurent, Marie Budness, and Ravneet Marwaha. Returning artists include Anita M. Walling, Barbara Ballou, Camille Tahar, Catherine Aiello, Christina Giebner, Emma Rossi, Eric Talbot, Heather Geoffrey, and others.
Guests may also view Intention, a month-long public art exhibit in the Front Window Gallery.
