The Sunderland Public Library, in collaboration with UMass Agricultural and Massachusetts 4-H, will hatch chicken eggs in a three-week program. The kick-off event, “Meet the Eggs,” will be held in person on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Subsequent sessions (Tuesdays at 6:00 PM, Saturdays at 11:00 AM) will cover incubators, egg development, candling, hatch day, and chick growth. The program runs May 2-23.
