Discussion of “Laxmi’s Mooch” for Ages 5-9
Amherst Feminist Generation and the Jones Library will host a storytime and craft on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Kids’ Room, 101 University Drive. Recommended for ages 5-9. Youth leaders will lead a discussion of Laxmi’s Mooch by Shelly Anand, followed by a fun craft. The book supports conversations about identity, physical attributes, and self-affirmation.
