Certified Technicians – Check Installation, Expiration & Fit – Project Backpack Event
Certified Child Passenger Safety (CPS) technicians will offer free car seat checks on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Amherst Regional High School parking lot, 21 Mattoon Street, Amherst. Technicians will check if your seat is installed correctly, expired, or the proper size for your child. The checks will be available during the Project Backpack distribution day.
