The Hadley Public Library will host a Live Insect Zoo presented by the UMass Fernald Entomology Club on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM in the community room. Visitors can learn about a variety of live insects and other creatures, with opportunities to observe and handle select specimens. Preserved insect specimens from the UMass entomology collection will also be on display.
The program is open to all ages. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is required. This event provides an opportunity for families and community members to explore insect science through hands-on interaction and educational displays.
