Snakes for Kids with Ray Palmer

Join artist and snake enthusiast Ray Palmer at the Mill District Local Art Gallery (91 Cowls Rd, Amherst) on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 3-4 PM for a family-friendly educational event.

  • Learn about local snake species and their habitats
  • Discover how snakes inspire Ray’s beaded jewelry designs
  • Meet Naga, a friendly corn snake (touch optional!)
  • Free admission (donations to the artist welcome)

Artist Background:
Ray Palmer, a jewelry maker since age 15, blends her passion for wildlife into her art. Proceeds support her dream of opening a wildlife rehabilitation center.
