Rare Declaration of Independence Engravings & Revolutionary War Artifacts
The Hadley Historical Society will host a special exhibition on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Hadley Public Library, 54 Middle Street, Hadley, in observance of the nation’s 250th anniversary. The multifaceted event features:
- Two rare 19th-century broadside engravings of the Declaration of Independence.
- History and photos of Hadley houses still standing since the Revolution.
- A panel display of “Forty Acres and the American Revolution: Stories of Independence and Servitude” from the Porter-Phelps-Huntington Museum.
- A display of Revolutionary War era weapons and diaries.
