The Amherst Board of Health will hold a public hearing on a proposed Nicotine-Free Generation provision on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM in Room 101 of the Bangs Community Center (70 Boltwood Walk). The policy would prohibit the sale of nicotine products to anyone born on or after January 1, 2005.
The hearing is for residents, businesses, and organizations to provide feedback. The Board of Health will consider adopting the provision after the hearing or at its November 5 meeting.
