Going on Vacation or to the Hospital? Officers Will Watch Your Property
The Amherst Police Department offers a free Vacant House Check Program for residents away from home for an extended period. When you submit a request, your property is added to a department-wide list during your absence. Officers in your sector will conduct periodic exterior checks of the property, deterring criminal activity and identifying issues early. This free community service provides peace of mind.
