Roads May Be Closed or Alternating One-Way Traffic – Emergency Access Maintained
The Belchertown Department of Public Works will conduct road work from Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, 2026, between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM on the following streets:
- Bay Road – from Catherine Drive to Old Bay Road
- Bay Road – from the railroad crossing to Federal Street (Route 9)
- George Hannum Street – from Stop and Shop to the rail underpass
- North Liberty Street – from Bardwell Street to Carol Ann Drive
Roads may be closed to through traffic or operate with alternating one-way traffic. Expect delays and detours. Emergency vehicles and residents will have access at all times.
Seek alternate routes and avoid the area when possible.
