The Belchertown Water District will conduct annual hydrant flushing from Tuesday, April 21, through Friday, May 1, 2026, daily from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Crews will start in the northern part of the district and move south. During flushing, customers may experience rusty or discolored water and lower water pressure; these conditions are normal and temporary. Residents on private wells or other municipal water systems are not affected.
