The South Hadley Department of Public Works will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 10 Industrial Drive, South Hadley. The event is open to residents of South Hadley and Granby. Accepted items include pesticides, solvents, gasoline, kerosene, oil-based paints, drain cleaners, pool chemicals, and other materials labeled toxic, flammable, corrosive, or poisonous. Do not bring latex paint, engine oil, fluorescent bulbs, empty containers, asbestos, gas cylinders, explosives, or ammunition.
