Road Closures or Alternating Traffic on Bay Road, George Hannum St & North Liberty St
The Belchertown Department of Public Works conducts road work on Tuesday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM on the following streets:
- Bay Road: Catherine Drive to Old Bay Road; and railroad crossing to Federal Street (Route 9)
- George Hannum Street: Stop and Shop to the rail underpass
- North Liberty Street: Bardwell Street to Carol Ann Drive
Roads may be closed to through traffic or operate with alternating one-way traffic. Expect delays and detours. Emergency vehicles and residents will have access. Work is weather dependent.
