A hands-on workshop on soil blocking for seed starting will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Led by Paulina Borrego from the UMass Mass Aggie Seed Library and The Common Seed Project of Western MA, participants will learn the benefits of using soil blocks instead of plastic trays and will create a variety of blocks to take home. All materials are provided; no experience is necessary.
