The Hitchcock Center for the Environment and Hampshire Bird Club will host a Christmas Bird Count event on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the center (845 West St, Amherst). The event is part of the 126th annual Audubon Society census.
The program includes an indoor lesson, story, craft, and outdoor bird counting, suitable for all ages and skill levels. The event will be held rain or shine.
The event is free. Registration is appreciated through the Hitchcock Center website.
