A free educational program on the dangers of rodenticides to wildlife will be held on Saturday, February 28, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Hosted by Mass Audubon, Kestrel Land Trust, the Hitchcock Center, and the Amherst Conservation Department, the event will cover how rodent poisons harm raptors and other predators and will present wildlife-safe rodent control alternatives. The in-person event will be held at the Hitchcock Center for the Environment at 845 West Street; a virtual attendance option is available.
Registration is required. To register for the in-person or virtual session, visit the Kestrel Land Trust event page.
