All Out Adventures will host its 17th annual Kayak-a-Thon on Sunday, September 7, 2025, offering two scenic routes along the Connecticut River:
You can choose to paddle either of the following distances:
- 12-mile paddle: Sunderland to Northampton
- 5-mile paddle: Hatfield to Northampton
The main event is the 5-mile stretch from Hatfield to Northampton. For those who want an extra challenge and who have previous paddling experience, we offer an early start in Sunderland for a 12-mile day.
The organizers recommend that only those with paddling experience and the ability to be on the water for 5+ hours begin their day in Sunderland. If you are unsure, please contact them at 413.584.2052 and they will discuss your options.
Day of Event Schedule
- 10am: Launch from Sunderland
- 11:30am: Flotilla arrives in Hatfield
- 12pm: Flotilla launches from Hatfield
- 3:30 – 4:00pm: Flotilla arrives in Northampton
- 4:00pm – 5:00pm: Enjoy delicious food from ServiceNet’s Rooste Cafe and music
- 5:15pm: Shuttles back to Hatfield and Sunderland begin
Event Purpose
Raise $60,000 to support 230+ free/low-cost adaptive outdoor programs for veterans, seniors, and people with disabilities across Massachusetts.
- Registration required (100-paddler limit; sold out in 2024)
- Fundraising minimum: $150 per boat
- Rain or shine (safety adjustments made for severe weather)
