Guided Strenuous Hike on Revolutionary War History – Ages 12+ – Registration Required
Join a Park Interpreter for a free guided hike on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mount Holyoke Range State Park, 1500 West Street, Amherst. Learn about the American Revolution in Western Massachusetts and explore the Horse Caves where rebellion leaders hid. The hike is strenuous and recommended for ages 12 and up. Sturdy hiking shoes required; hiking poles recommended. Dress for the weather; bring water, snacks, and extra layers.
