The Hampshire Bird Club will host a slow, accessible bird walk on the Amherst portion of the Norwottuck Rail Trail on Friday, April 10, 2026. The approximately one-mile round trip will search for early migrants, Belted Kingfishers, Green Herons, waterfowl, hawks, and other raptors. The trail is paved, level, and accessible. The group will meet at the parking area on Station Road. Registration is required online at least two days in advance.
