A guided “Off the Beaten Path” hike for ages 12 and up will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, starting at the Notch Visitor Center, 1500 West Street, Amherst. The 2-4 mile strenuous hike over uneven terrain will explore winter wildlife survival. Participants should dress for the weather and bring water, snacks, and extra layers. Ice grippers are required; hiking poles are recommended.
