Register by August 22 – Mail-In Ballot Applications Due August 25
The Massachusetts State Primary Election is Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Polls are open 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Voters can vote by mail, absentee, early in-person, or on Election Day. Key deadlines: Voter registration deadline: Saturday, August 22. Vote-by-mail application deadline: August 25 at 5:00 PM. Early voting runs August 22-28 at Town Hall. Precinct 2-B voters: polling location has changed to Amherst-Pelham Regional High School, 21 Mattoon Street.
Return Ballots by Mail, In-Person or Drop Box – Deadline 8:00 PM Election Day
Mail-in ballots must be received by 8:00 PM on Election Day. Use the Election Drop Box outside Town Hall (Main Street entrance). Ballots cannot be returned at polling locations on Election Day. Track your ballot at TrackMyBallotMA.com.
