The North Amherst Library and the Hitchcock Center will host a guided StoryWalk on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on the Julius Lester Trail at Mill River Park in Amherst. Participants will explore the picture book “Moon Song” by Michaela Goade through a guided outdoor walk that incorporates reading, movement, and song along the trail. The program is designed for children ages 0 to 6 and their caregivers, and children must attend with an adult. The event is made possible through funding from the Friends of the Jones Libraries. This program offers an opportunity for young children and families to engage with a story in a structured outdoor setting.
