Berkshire Book Con is hosting its first annual short story contest for writers in the Berkshires and beyond. Submissions are due by April 4, 2026. First, second, and third place winners will be announced on Saturday, April 18, during the Social Hour (4:00-5:00 PM) at Hot Plate Brewing Co. in Pittsfield. The contest is part of the one-day Berkshire Book Con celebration at the Berkshire Athenaeum and Hot Plate Brewing Co., which also features an author talk, exhibit hall, book fair, and trivia.
