A free lecture, “Revisiting Shays’ Rebellion,” will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Tom Goldscheider will explore why families who supported the American Revolution later turned against the new state government, examining the rebellion as the conflict’s final chapter. The event will take place at the Bangs Community Center, 70 Boltwood Walk, Amherst.
