The American Antiquarian Society (AAS) is accepting applications for the summer seminar “Paper Relations: Histories and Futures of Indigenous Print Cultures,” to be held Sunday, June 21, through Friday, June 26, 2026, in Worcester, MA. Co-taught by Kathryn Walkiewicz (UC San Diego) and Kelly Wisecup (Northwestern University), the seminar will examine Indigenous print cultures from the 17th to 19th centuries, focusing on collaborations, materials, and archival relationships. The program includes guest lectures, a field trip, and coincides with the James Russell Wiggins Lecture by Phillip Round. Tuition is $1,000 (includes meals); dormitory housing is available separately for approximately $80/night. Scholarships are available, including for those in Indigenous studies.
