The Hitchcock Center for the Environment will host a free storytime with author Mary Wagley Copp on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Copp will read her picture book Yoshi’s Big Swim: One Turtle’s Epic Journey Home, the true story of a loggerhead sea turtle tracked over a 22,000-mile journey. Following the reading, attendees will meet some of the Hitchcock Center’s resident turtles. Books will be available for purchase through Odyssey Bookshop.
