Hands-On Shiitake, Oyster & Winecap Growing
The New England Small Farm Institute (NESFI) and Forestopia will host a hands-on workshop, “Mushroom Cultivation – You Can Do It!” on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 270 Jackson Street, Belchertown. The workshop covers forest farming fundamentals, shiitake, oyster, and winecap mushroom cultivation, and basic considerations for commercial growing. Participants will have the opportunity to take home an inoculated shiitake log.

Suggested donation is 20−30. Add $15 to take home one inoculated shiitake log. All are welcome.
