Town Invites Feedback on Compliance & Future Community Cable Needs
The Town of Amherst invites the community to a public hearing on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 6:30 PM in the Town Room, Town Hall (4 Boltwood Avenue) and via Zoom. The hearing addresses the Town’s Cable Television License Agreement with Comcast, the sole franchise holder. The current contract began in October 2016 and expires in October 2026.
How to Provide Comments
Residents can provide feedback on (a) whether Comcast is in full compliance with the current cable license, and (b) the Town’s future community cable-related needs. Public comments can be given during the hearing or submitted in writing at any time to cable[at]amherstma.gov.
