Free Workshop with Michael Favala Goldman – Bring a Short Original Piece
Straw Dog Writers Guild presents a free workshop, “How to Nail Your Next Public Reading,” on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Easthampton Public Library Annex, 52 Main Street, Easthampton. Facilitator Michael Favala Goldman (author and translator of 28 books) will cover presence, pacing, physical space, tech challenges, and dealing with nervousness. Participants should bring an original paragraph, two, or a short poem (100 words or less) to share.
