Dennis Picard is a seasoned museum professional with over forty years of experience in the living history field. He has held leadership roles at several historical institutions, including Old Sturbridge Village and Storrowton Village Museum, where he served as director for 27 years. A frequent lecturer and consultant for historical societies and museums, Picard specializes in New England’s folk traditions, including maple sugaring, ice harvesting, and historic trades. His engaging presentations bring the past to life, exploring the cultural and economic significance of these traditions.
