Amherst College will host “Hack the Herd,” a 24-hour sustainability hackathon, on March 29-30, 2025 in the Science Center (Rooms A131 and C101). The event is open to all students and community members.
Participants will develop AI-driven solutions for campus sustainability challenges, including food waste, transportation, and carbon tracking. No coding experience is required. Registration is mandatory, with team matching available.
The event includes meals, a talk by Raccoon Eyes AI founder Ivan Zou, and $1,000+ in prizes.
