Franklin County’s semiannual Clean Sweep Bulky Waste Recycling Day returns Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon at three convenient locations:
- Erving Highway Garage – 16 Public Works Blvd (off Rt. 2)
- Mohawk Trail Regional School – 26 Ashfield Rd (Route 112), Buckland
- Whately Transfer Station – 73 Christian Lane, Whately (off Rt. 5/10)
Open to residents of 21 participating towns in Franklin County, this event accepts a range of bulky items: tires, appliances (remove doors), scrap metal, electronics, furniture, carpeting, propane tanks (1 lb and 20 lb), fire extinguishers, and more.
No pre-registration required. Cash only.
