The Amherst Public Shade Tree Committee hosts a community tree planting on Saturday, September 13, 2025, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM at Farmington Road and Pondview Drive. Volunteers will help plant new shade trees to enhance Amherst’s urban canopy.
- No experience required – all ages welcome
- Bring: Work gloves, water, closed-toe shoes, sun protection
- Look for yellow trucks at the site
