The Town of Amherst will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Centennial Water Treatment Plant on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 12:00 PM. The plant, located in Pelham, provides up to one million gallons of drinking water daily to Amherst.
Attendees should park at the Pelham Library (2 S Valley Rd), where a shuttle will provide transportation to the plant. The facility replaces an older plant damaged in 2018 and uses advanced treatment technology.
