The Jones Library will host Taylor Swift by the Book: The Literature Behind the Lyrics on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM via Zoom. The online talk explores the literary influences found in Taylor Swift’s songwriting, from classic authors like Shakespeare and the Brontë sisters to modern inspirations such as Daphne du Maurier. A literature professor and a musical theater artist will guide attendees through the connections between literature and Swift’s lyrics.
