Erin O. White will launch her debut novel Like Family on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 7 PM at Odyssey Bookshop in South Hadley, Massachusetts. She will be joined in conversation by author Heather Abel.
The novel follows a close-knit group of friends in a small upstate New York town as they navigate love, loyalty, and the unspoken complexities of chosen family after a sudden loss. Known for her memoir Give Up for You, Erin O. White brings warmth and insight to her first work of fiction.
Heather Abel, author of The Optimistic Decade and the upcoming The Emily’s (2026), teaches creative writing at Smith College and will moderate the event.
