Budget Includes Municipal, Schools, Library & Capital
Town Manager Paul Bockelman has submitted the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 budget to the Town Council. The budget covers all aspects of town operations including municipal services, Amherst Regional Public Schools, the Jones Library and branches, and capital projects. A five-year Capital Improvement Program is also incorporated.
Public Engagement Opportunities Available
The Finance Committee will review budget components with the Town Manager, finance staff, and department heads before making a recommendation to the full Town Council. The Town Council must adopt the budget, with or without amendments, by June 30, 2026. Residents can engage by attending public meetings, joining a Cuppa’ Joe with Paul session, or contacting Town Council directly.
