Free Family Event – 250th Nation & 175th Town Tradition Anniversaries
The Town of Amherst will host its annual Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks on Friday, July 3, 2026, at UMass Amherst’s McGuirk Alumni Stadium South Lawn. This free, family-friendly event features dazzling fireworks, live entertainment, local food vendors, and activities for all ages. The year’s celebration marks both the 250th anniversary of the nation and the 175th anniversary of this cherished town tradition.
